Charter member of the Observatory, Marc Riedel endorse currently the role of scientific advisor and is also a member of the advisory board.
Marc has an unique academic background. PhD in sociology (Université Paris Dauphine), PhD in cognitive psychology (Université François Rabelais de Tours, EA 2114). Posgraduated in chronobiology (Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris) he is also a tenured researcher in applied chronobiology / chronoprevention at the Chronobiology Unit of the Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild, Paris (Team directed by Alain Reinberg and Yvan Touitou).
Due to his multdisciplinary profile, Marc is fully qualified to resolve, in a comprehensive way, the various integrated problems affecting high reliabilty organizations (human performance & vulnerabilities, health at work, accidents & professionnal risk prevention, or defence and civil security issues...).
Involved in field research, he also works as a consultant and expert for multinational companies, european urban district communities and civil security authorities.
